As a General Building Inspector/QCI, you\'ll perform daily onsite
monitoring of construction operations and inspections of the work for
compliance with the contract.Other job requirements include:
Performing daily, quality-focused inspections during project
construction.
Reviewing equipment, materials, and workmanship.
Reviewing contractor quality and safety plans for adequacy,
completeness, and code compliance.
Monitoring labor workforce levels and safety conditions.
Maintaining inspection logs and take project photographs daily. Prepare
progress and final inspection reports for each inspection. Record
defects and/or omissions.
Reporting problems/deficiencies encountered in the performance of the
work in a timely manner.
Maintaining daily logs on required corrections and post status reports
daily.
Documenting all qualitative and quantitative differences between
construction contract documents and actual work in place.
Reviewing planned vs. actual schedule status and keep project manager
informed of risks.
Assisting in the resolution of field issues arising during construction.

**Qualifications**
Experience on Building Projects valued at \$10M or more.
At least 5 years of experience in Construction Quality Assurance/Quality
Control.
Familiarity with safety regulations and inspection/testing procedures.
Demonstrated ability to work with Client team, Contractor team and
Architect/Engineer.
Good working skills with computers and applications including PMCS
systems.
Physical requirements include accessing all areas of buildings in a safe
manner including using ladders.
The base salary range for this position is \$43.26 to \$50.48 per hour.
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries
for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual
pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including
job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
