Civil Engineer - EIT

Civil Engineer - EIT (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Philadelphia, PA): Prepare designs, calculations, specifications, and technical reports on civil infrastructure projects involving sanitary, storm sewer, watermain, pump stations, stormwater management and drainage plans. Evaluate existing infrastructure conditions at project sites to define the appropriate civil engineering scope of work and necessary remedial measures. Prepare contract specifications and design drawings for bidding using CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D. Coordinate design with other engineering disciplines working on the project. Attend meetings and collaborate with internal and external consultants, construction contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.). #LI-DNI #GTM

Requirements:

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience. Employer will accept 3 or 4 year Bachelor's degree.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: American Water Works Association (AWWA) standards, American Society of Civil Engineering (ASCE) standards, and American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards; Using AutoCAD Civil 3D; Performing civil engineering design calculations; and Design-bid-build infrastructure projects.

Of the required experience, must have 1 year of experience with the following: 10 States Standards.

Must have a US Engineer-In-Training (EIT) certification.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA may be permitted, depending on business need.

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
