Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to assist the plant electrical safety advisor and expert, provide and manage support for plant network infrastructure, and develop the technical skills of others outside the electrical discipline. The role involves managing electrical and instrumentation technical specifications, standards, and guidelines, and working collaboratively with engineering teams to plan, develop, support, and implement capital and sustaining projects aimed at improving safety, reducing costs, enhancing quality, minimizing environmental impacts, and increasing capacity.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight and enhancement of low and medium voltage preventive maintenance.
- Assist in the management of Capital Projects.
- Participate in maintenance teams to implement corrective actions from predictive maintenance testing of electrical systems.
- Assist and participate in maintenance teams during planned plant outages for major electrical and control system upgrades.
Essential Skills
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- 1+ Year of Manufacturing/Industrial Experience - preferably focused in power systems
- Proficiency in power distribution and PLC troubleshooting
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in PLC Troubleshooting, Design, and/or programming
- Experience with Human-Machine Interfaces (HMI)
Work Environment
This position is based in an on-site industrial manufacturing environment, operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Employees enjoy billable holidays and paid time off.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.00 - $56.00/hr.
