Position: Handyman Key Responsibilities: Single Family home Maintance and day to day jobs General Repairs Fixing doors (alignment, knobs, hinges, locks) Repairing windows (broken glass, sashes, hardware) Patch drywall and small holes/cracks Fixing squeaky or uneven floors Repairing baseboards and trim Replacing damaged ceiling tiles or panels Carpentry Building or repairing fences and gates Installing or repairing shelves, cabinets, and closets Replacing or repairing decking and handrails Framing small structures (e.g., sheds, pergolas) Repairing or replacing siding and exterior trim Plumbing (Minor) Fixing leaky faucets and pipes Unclogging drains, toilets, and sinks Replacing faucets, showerheads, and sprayers Installing or replacing toilets and vanities Installing dishwashers or garbage disposals Electrical (Basic/Non-licensed) Replacing light switches, outlets, and covers Installing ceiling fans and light fixtures Troubleshooting minor electrical issues Replacing smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors Installing or replacing doorbells Note: Any work requiring a permit or electrical panel changes may need a licensed electrician. Cleaning & Maintenance Gutter cleaning Power washing (siding, decks, driveways) Cleaning dryer vents Cleaning exterior windows Changing HVAC filters Painting & Finishing Interior and exterior painting Touch-up painting and staining Caulking windows, tubs, and sinks Refinishing wood surfaces Installation Tasks Mounting TVs and artwork Assembling furniture Installing curtain rods or blinds Installing home security cameras (non-integrated systems) Hanging mirrors, shelves, and other decor Yard & Exterior Work Lawn maintenance (mowing, edging, trimming) Tree and shrub pruning Seasonal yard cleanup Fence and gate repairs Deck and patio maintenance Seasonal & Weather-Related Snow removal and de-icing walkways Installing or removing storm windows Winterizing outdoor spigots and irrigation systems Seasonal HVAC prep (AC in spring, furnace in fall) Preventive Maintenance Inspecting roof and flashing for damage Checking and sealing foundation cracks Lubricating door hinges and locks Checking attic and crawlspace for leaks or pests Testing sump pump functionality Pest-Related Tasks (Minor) Sealing holes and gaps to prevent pests Installing or repairing screens Placing traps or repellents (non-chemical) Day-to-Day Handy Support Replacing light bulbs and batteries Changing locks or rekeying Basic home automation setup (e.g., smart bulbs, thermostats) Minor tile or grout repair Trash removal or minor hauling Qualifications: *** Must be knowledgeable about industry standards and always carry quality tools and a good camera, as photography is a key part of our responsibilities. The handyman must be skilled in taking clear before, during, and after photos of all work, and must know how to properly document property issues during inspections. Payment: We offer flexible payment methods and ensure our partners are paid within 72 hours of job completion. Payments are made via direct deposit to your bank account. Earnings: Part-time workers can earn between $1,500 and $5,000 per month, depending on workload and experience. Travel Requirements: This role involves travel within the designated service area, typically ranging from 20 to 80 miles depending on job requirements. Travel allowances are provided when applicable.
