**This position requires traveling around the East Coast of the United States for 4-6 week contracts between Maryland and Georgia! This will include per diem, traveling expenses, housing, meals, etc.**

**Job Description**
+ As a Controls Installer, you will play a pivotal role in the installation of low-voltage building automation and HVAC control systems within commercial structures.
+ Operating under the direct supervision of the site superintendent, you will collaborate closely with a team of professionals to ensure efficient and reliable installations, primarily at military installations.
+ Your expertise and dedication are essential to achieving the highest standards of performance and safety in complex building automation projects.
**Responsibilities**
+ Travel to multiple states to perform work at various military installations.
+ Install conduit up to 1" EMT and Rigid.
+ Install low-voltage cabling and sensors.
+ Install low-voltage control panels.
+ Wire and terminate low-voltage control panels and associated devices.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in conduit and wire installation within a commercial setting.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and mechanical blueprints.
+ Willingness to travel full-time to various locations.
+ Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred experience in installation of commercial building automation and HVAC controls systems.
+ OSHA 10 and/or OSHA 30 certification.
+ Journeymen electrician or similar field plus three years of industry experience.
+ Ten-plus years experience in servicing mechanical equipment control systems in the HVAC industry.
+ Knowledge of systems integration and development work on Niagara / Tridium based systems.
+ General knowledge of commercial controls systems, facilities management systems, energy management practices.
+ Effective interpersonal skills for professional representation to customers and other outside contacts.
+ Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
+ Leadership skills to support Technicians working on complex Building Automation equipment.
+ PC experience required with ability to program facility automation controls related software.
+ AutoCAD or similar experience is a plus.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
