Lead Handyman

LEAD HANDYMAN position available.

V20 Group, a vertically integrated, real estate investment firm in Darien, Connecticut seeks an experienced Lead Handyman for a brand new, state of the art, mixed-use residential/commercial facility in Darien, CT.

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced handyman to work for a growing real estate firm here in lower Fairfield, Connecticut.

Key responsibilities include:

Repairs: Fixing broken items, such as furniture, doors, windows, and appliances.
Maintenance: Performing routine tasks like changing light bulbs, fixing leaky faucets, and addressing minor plumbing or electrical issues.
General upkeep: Cleaning, painting, and ensuring the overall tidiness and safety of the property.
Troubleshooting: Identifying and diagnosing problems with equipment or buildings.
Communication: Interacting with clients, providing updates, and potentially recommending additional repairs.

Skills and Qualifications:

Technical skills: Proficiency in using hand and power tools, basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry skills.
Problem-solving: Ability to identify issues, assess situations, and find solutions.
Physical stamina: Handymen often need to be able to lift heavy objects and work in various positions.
Customer service: Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with clients.
Organization and time management: Managing multiple tasks and prioritizing work effectively.
Safety consciousness: Following safety procedures and using appropriate safety equipment.

Bi-lingual Spanish is required.

The position offers a salary of $52,000 per year with medical benefits starting day one.

We require, at least, five years of verifiable work experience in the same position, a valid driver's license with no points and a respectable toolkit with power tools, etcetera.

Job hours are to be discussed. All applicants must live within 20 minutes of Darien. No exceptions
