As a key member of our Legacy Transformation team, you'll collaborate with industry leaders like AWS, Google Cloud, and major GSIs to shape the future of mainframe modernization through innovative AI-driven approaches.

**What You'll Do at Pega:**

+ Lead complex modernization initiatives while collaborating with AWS, GSIs, and enterprise clients to shape transformation roadmaps

+ Design and implement advanced modernization solutions incorporating AI-driven approaches to accelerate and de-risk transformation

+ Represent Pega at industry events and partner forums, establishing our position as a leader in AI-driven legacy transformation

+ Explore and implement Agentic AI applications for legacy modernization, creating autonomous solutions that intelligently assist in the transformation process

+ Mentor engineering teams and contribute to building organizational capability in mainframe modernization

**Who You Are:**

+ A seasoned technologist with 8+ years of experience in mainframe environments (COBOL, CICS, JCL, DB2) and at least 3 years in modernization roles

+ An expert in designing and delivering modernization solutions on AWS and other cloud platforms

+ A collaborative partner with experience working with or within GSIs on enterprise modernization initiatives

+ A skilled communicator with excellent presentation abilities and experience in client-facing roles

+ A strategic thinker who can lead technical pre-sales efforts and contribute to business development

+ An innovator interested in applying AI to solve complex legacy transformation challenges

**What You've Accomplished:**

+ Successfully delivered multiple mainframe modernization projects, including replatforming, refactoring, or rearchitecting initiatives

+ Designed and implemented cloud-native architectures that preserve critical business logic while enabling modern capabilities

+ Built strong relationships with technology partners and system integrators to deliver joint solutions

+ Developed and presented compelling technical solutions that demonstrate clear business value

+ Stayed at the forefront of emerging technologies, particularly in the areas of cloud computing and AI
