**Responsibilities**
+ Work from drawings, engineering specifications, sketches, and verbal instructions to construct various parts, components, or complete machines.
+ Weld components, develop component weld fixtures, or build machines while maintaining required quality specifications.
+ Set up welding machines and perform MIG welding on steel.
+ Grind and finish welds to ensure smooth surfaces.
+ Engage in a variety of projects as needed based on project requirements.
**Skills/Qualifications**
+ Minimum of 6 months experience or formal schooling in MIG welding.
+ Proficiency in setting up welding machines.
+ Experience in grinding and polishing.
+ Ability to weld on steel.
+ Blueprint reading is a plus.
