Responsibilities Work within a team of professionals to develop civil engineering plans and specifications for Energy and Land Development projects. Perform field work either alone or in pairs to collect data, record measurements and site photos/videos. Perform analysis of data. Draft plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D. Assist in the preparation of land entitlement and permitting documents. Develop reports presenting design calculations. Skills and Attributes Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Team oriented with capability to work independently. Ability to perform engineering tasks in coordination with the project team on integrating the design and developing deliverables. Strong computer skills with experience or exposure to AutoCAD Civil3D preferred. Experience or exposure working with PondPack, HydroCAD, StormCAD, AutoCAD S&S Analysis or similar stormwater design software Self-motivated, ability to think critically and attention to detail. Qualifications BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related degree 1-3+ years of land development /civil engineering internship/co-op experience Prior land development design experience (erosion control, stormwater management and site grading) preferred EIT preferred We are VHB!
