General Laborer Job Description We are seeking experienced general construction laborers to join our team for the Cape Porpoise Pier project. This project includes multiple construction tasks such as replacing the bait shed, adding a Harbormaster office, replacing fuel tanks and systems, expanding the pier, and installing a new float system for recreational boats and a pump out station. The starting pay will be between $20 - $22 an hour. Responsibilities Assist in the replacement of the bait shed. Support the construction of a new Harbormaster office. Participate in the replacement of fuel tanks and systems. Help in the expansion of the pier. Contribute to the installation of a new float system and pump out station. Perform general labor tasks as required by the project. Essential Skills At least 1 to 2 years of experience in construction labor. Strong mechanical ability. Proficiency with cutting torches and welding (MIG and TIG). Experience in heavy timber and concrete construction. Ability to lift standard weights of 50 pounds, occasionally up to 70 pounds.
