Carpenter I

Performs construction, repair and maintenance carpentry at the journeyman's level for all hospital facilities, related equipment, furniture and furnishings. Equivalent to four years of high school or trade-vocational school education and knowledge of building and life safety codes. Ten years' diverse carpentry experience in construction, repair, maintenance, and cabinetry with a minimum of five years experience at the journeyman's level. Massachusetts construction supervisor's license required. Hospital experience preferred.
