Qualifications and responsibilities for this Saw Operator position include: Ability to demonstrate mechanical aptitude through interview and evaluation Basic mathematical skills and ability to interpret cut-sheets and measurements Experience or understanding of blueprint reading, mechanical tools, and shop processes Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8-10 hours per shift Will be trained to set up and operate an automatic band saw to cut raw materials to spec Use forklift to unload vendor deliveries, check against packing lists, and coordinate with purchasing Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to follow instructions and coaching Willingness to learn and work within a fabrication team producing components like frames, hubs, rims, and spokes Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
