Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Field Engineer to oversee and manage laboratory operations related to construction materials testing. This role involves supervising laboratory activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and collaborating with various teams to support construction and geotechnical projects. Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all laboratory operations including scheduling, testing, reporting, and quality control.
- Perform and oversee laboratory testing on construction materials such as soil, aggregate, asphalt, and concrete.
- Ensure all laboratory testing complies with applicable standards.
- Train and mentor lab technicians and junior staff.
- Review and approve test results, data reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate with field teams, clients, and project stakeholders to support ongoing construction and geotechnical projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and uphold health and safety standards.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical support as needed.

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction materials testing with a focus on asphalt, soil, and concrete.
- Previous lab management or project management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and testing protocols.
- Certifications such as ACI, NICET, or state DOT certifications are highly preferred.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and laboratory management software.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
