Mechanical Engineer (Multiple Openings)

JOB DUTIES: Responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing agricultural maintenance, parlor, feed, manure, water treatment, heating and ventilation, rolling equipment, and methane digester systems for dairy operations. Specific duties include: (1) designing, developing, and implementing mechanical systems; (2) preparing detailed operation, inspection, maintenance, and quality control protocols; (3) evaluating agricultural systems needs and recommending solutions and systems improvements; (4) identifying and creating mechanical systems to improve profitability, quality control, environmental protection, and animal safety; (5) designing, developing, and implementing maintenance systems and protocols; (6) ensuring compliance with environmental protocols; and (7) performing related professional engineering duties. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or a closely related field; and one year of engineering experience. SALARY: $60,590-70,000.
