salary: $64,000 - $74,000 per year

Responsibilities

A Maintenance Technician, or Maintenance Mechanic, is in charge of performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on production equipment. Their duties include fixing machinery, heating and wiring, working on Extrusion machinery,

Maintenance Technician duties and responsibilities

A Maintenance Technician will be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. Some other tasks a Maintenance Technician may be called upon to do include:

• Performing routine maintenance around the building on machine repairs, small motors, CNC machinery, gear boxes
• Working on damaged electrical wiring when a shortage or severed wire occurs
• Applying preventative measures to the building's machinery to reduce the risk of future problems
• Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
• preventative and mechanical maintenance of production equipment (Extrusion equipment)

Must have some computer skills, be able to create job orders, and contribute to the ongoing maintenance repair logging and documentation needs of the department.



The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 40lbs

working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
