Civil Engineering Project Manager

Looking for a Civil Engineering Project Manager who can take on both technical and business development responsibilities.
This role requires a self-motivated professional who is eager and confident in pursuing new business opportunities, preparing proposals, securing projects, managing project teams, and executing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, client engagement, and market research.
• Prepare proposals, bids, and presentations to secure new projects.
• Manage multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Perform engineering work including design, analysis, and technical problem solving.
• Lead and coordinate project teams, including engineers, subcontractors, and consultants.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Monitor project performance, budgets, and deliverables, providing updates to company leadership.
• Assist in shaping company strategies and operational improvements to support growth.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain).
• Experience in both project management and business development within the civil engineering industry.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Ability to wear multiple hats and thrive in a dynamic, small-business environment.
• Proficiency in engineering and project management software.
