Location: Milwaukee or Madison, WI

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Scheduler to support construction project planning and execution. This role involves developing, maintaining, and monitoring detailed project schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with project managers, field personnel, and stakeholders to identify potential delays, resolve scheduling conflicts, and keep projects on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline project schedules.
• Create detailed project timelines usingPrimavera P6andMicrosoft Project.
• Break down project scope into tasks and define logical sequencing of activities.
• Estimate activity durations, resource needs, and perform critical path analysis.
• Integrate electrical schedules into the general contractor's master schedule.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and update schedules accordingly.
• Collect and analyze progress data to identify deviations and risks.
• Update schedules based on actual progress and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Perform schedule impact analysis for change orders.
• Identify critical path activities and potential bottlenecks.
• Proactively assess schedule risks and develop contingency plans.
• Prepare and present schedule reports to project management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate schedule review meetings and maintain clear communication with all parties.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in construction scheduling software.
• Hands-on experience with Primavera P6andMicrosoft Project.
• Strong understanding of project scheduling principles and techniques.
• Ability to perform critical path analysis and estimate resource requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience integrating electrical schedules into broader project timelines.
• Skilled in schedule impact analysis for change orders.
• Strong communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Work Environment

This position is based in either Milwaukee or Madison, WI, with regular travel to project sites. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely project execution.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $56.00/hr.
