A developer/commercial and multifamily builder is in search of a Preconstruction Manager to be located in Columbia, SC. This company has earned a great reputation in the market by putting emphasis on creating a collaborative environment for their employees and building solid relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, engineers and community in general. Columbia, SC office focuses on regional multifamily projects and are hoping to add a working preconstruction professional to their existing team.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or multifamily construction estimating
• Experience estimating wood frame, ground up projects of at least $20 million
• Experience in leading multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of conceptual estimating delivery methods
• Ability to form strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, owners, architects, engineers, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
• A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, Business or related field is preferred
