We have many ongoing projects, from research and innovation, including pilot plant testing, to concept studies and to large EPC projects, both in Europe and in the United States. Today, we are delivering seven carbon capture units in Europe, with an accumulated capture capacity of 1 million tonnes of CO2.

SLB Capturi US is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong background in medium voltage power distribution systems.

Reporting to the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will be working closely with cross functional teams to ensure the successful integration and optimization of the electrical portion of the designs.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

+ Prepare electrical load calculations from P&IDs.

+ Create power distribution system design including 15KV, 5KV, and 480V oneline diagrams.

+ Prepare MCC, Panel board, and UPS schedules.

+ Perform load flow, fault current calculations, arc flash analysis, device coordination, motor starting and harmonic studies using ETAP.

+ Create and analyse power system studies reports and provide recommendations.

+ Perform cable sizing calculations and prepare cable schedules.

+ Prepare electrical layouts, including substation layouts, cable tray layouts, grounding plans, lighting plans, panel and junction box drawings.

+ Create Material Take Off for electrical equipment.

+ Act as the electrical focal point on assigned projects.

+ Review project scope and provide electrical load requirements and power distribution system configuration.

+ Review customer electrical equipment specifications / requirements, identify scope deviations, and prepare project specifications and data sheets.

+ Prepare RFQ packages for substation building, switchgear, MCC, transformers, and motors.

+ Review vender quotes, answer clarifications, and perform technical evaluation.

+ Integrate vender drawings / documentation into project electrical deliverables including interconnection diagrams and control schematics.

+ Provide electrical technical assurance in compliance with company electrical design principles and standards.

+ Contribute to project execution plans, filed installation instruction, commissioning procedures, inspection and testing plans, operating and maintenance procedures of the electrical equipment.

**Qualifications and Experience**

+ Bachelors degree in electrical engineering minimum required

+ 3 to 5 Years industrial experience in Power Systems, electrical power distribution system design and engineering.

+ Professional engineer is a plus

+ Working experience with ETAP Power System Modelling and analysis software.

+ Knowledge of North American Electrical Codes and Standards, including but not limited to NEC, NFPA, IEEE/ANSI, NESC, API, NEMA.

+ Knowledge of protection relays Multilin / SEL and firmware is a plus.

+ Substation design and EPC experience is preferred.

+ Ability to attend FAT and provide reports.

+ Ability to work independently as a part of a team.

+ Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

+ Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

+ A self-starter that demonstrates a positive outlook and contributes to working in multicultural and multidisciplinary and collaborative environment.
