Floor Covering Installer's Wanted!

Job Type - Full-Time
Wage:
$20 - $45/hour, pay depending on experience. 40 hours per week - potential for OT.
Transportation:
Expectation is you're able to drive to site or get transport to site. Often times the jobs can be outside of transit hubs.
Aries Flooring Limited. is an established flooring installation company operating out of the lower mainland, BC. We do work Province wide but also Canada wide.
We are looking for professional, experienced and reliable floor covering installer to join our team.
Location of work:
Various locations throughout the Lower Mainland and throughout BC. Also optional out of town/province work as it comes available.
Terms of Employment:
Permanent positions - 3 months probation as a sub, moving to full-time payroll.
Benefits Offered:
Extended Health and Dental Insurance available after 6 months of employment.
Periodic bonus gas cards/compass cards/etc depending on performance and attendance.
Job Duties Include:
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered
Measure, cut and install resilient floor coverings/vinyl plank/carpet tile/rubber floor/sports floors/wall cladding.
Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
Prepare floors for installations
Additional Skills
Must have the ability to lift up to 50-pound loads
Physically demanding with bending, crouching, kneeling
Effective interpersonal skills and team player
Valid drivers license and own transportation
Own hand tools and PPE (we provide specialty tools)
For Journeyman wages $30/hr and up you'll be expected to know all installation and sub-floor corrections for the listed work expected, able to install deficiency free and have own tools and transportation.
Required education: High school or equivalent
Language of work: Well-spoken English
