Forklift Operator Job Description We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator for both day and night shifts. The role involves operating a double fork forklift to ensure the production floor is stocked with materials and transporting finished products back to the warehouse for shipping. Training on the first shift may be required for two weeks. Responsibilities Operate a double fork forklift to move materials from the warehouse to the production floor. Transport finished products from the production floor back to the warehouse for shipping. Maintain inventory and ensure materials are accurately recorded. Handle materials using RF scanners and other warehouse equipment. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals. Ensure all equipment is used safely and efficiently. Essential Skills Forklift operating experience, including sit-down forklift. Basic computer skills for inventory management. 2+ years of forklift driver experience in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work any shift and weekends with mandatory overtime as needed. Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork ability. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with quality standards and line processes. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HANOVER, Pennsylvania. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
