Lead Cable Technician

Now Hiring: Expert-Level Cabling Technician | TEKsystems Location: Industrial Construction Site Job Type: Contract | Full-Time Industry: Commercial Construction / Industrial Technology About the Role TEKsystems is seeking highly skilled and dependable Cabling Technicians to join a dynamic team on a high-profile industrial construction project. This is not your average buildoutwe're talking large-scale, high-density environments where precision, professionalism, and performance are non-negotiable. You'll be working under the direction of TEKsystems leads, running cable with a helper in a congested, multi-trade environment. We're looking for self-starters who thrive in fast-paced, complex job sites and can lead by example. Key Responsibilities Install and route low-voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, fiber optics) in large commercial/industrial environments Terminate, test, and troubleshoot network systems using tools such as cable testers, and network analyzers Lead and mentor a helper while maintaining high productivity with minimal supervision Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors Required Skills & Experience Proven ability to work independently and stay on task without constant oversight Experience working with and directing a helper Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Must have own basic tools (major tools provided) Certifications & Requirements OSHA 10 Certification - Required before site access Lift Certification - Required before site access Managerial references will be required to validate reliability, leadership, and work ethic Ready to Elevate Your Career?
