Under the Process, Excellence and Implementation Team the Installation Project Manager is responsible for Scoping, Estimating, Project Planning / Management and Field Overview to support customer installations of HyAxiom Fuel Cells. Responsible for trusted and timely deployment and execution of the installation plan(s). Assures full support of all assigned installation requirements are met, including delivery of those services/installation processes, and the clarity and timeliness of the overall installation process. Works to verify accurate and timely procurement, delivery and deployment of required services, materials, parts and installation services required for the installation(s). Cross-functionally coordinates assigned activities, needs and project/program progress across Sales, Engineering, Test, Supply Chain, Finance and Quality organizations.Role & Responsibility - Leadership & Project Management

Result oriented, Customer centered

Support and deliver assigned installation portion of the sales/installation contract

Provide sample Installation Drawings. Facilitate generation of One-Line, 3-Line, Site layout and Site Design documentation

Walk jobsite to review conditions / progress and assist in interpretation of site drawings, completing audits, inspections, daily log

Monitor a detailed master construction schedule utilizing Microsoft Project

Perform the work necessary to meet all relevant installation requirements and coordination of support services

May develop/propose methods, guidelines and policies to facilitate efficient, cost effective, quality installation service delivery

Compile as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and other documents to complete the closeout package

Work to assure all customer issues are satisfactorily addressed utilizing engineering, manufacturing, and other team support as required

Responsible for active and on-going teamwork, including active engagement and results focus with the groups across functional disciplines

Role & Responsibility - Estimating & Financial Planning

Formulate accurate budgets for Fuel Cell Installations at various US Customer Sites

Track project spend vs. budget and provide quarterly EAC (estimate at completion) updates

Conduct jobsite walkthroughs to verify actual field conditions (as needed)

Develop a list of qualified subcontract bidders

Communicate with subcontract bidders to confirm scope coverage

Analyze Subcontractor bids as they relate to drawings, specifications, and scope of work

Develop RFQ's. Review all bid documents. Develop RFI's as required. Assist in awarding construction contracts

Qualify and Hire equipment suppliers

Procure required site electrical and mechanical installation equipment as required for contracts where HyAxiom is the equipment supplier

Work with team and subcontractors to obtain cost-saving alternatives and value engineering

Focuses on cost containment initiatives and opportunities across the Installation process

Job Requirements - Education & Experience

BS degree in Civil Engineering with 5-10+ years of experience

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with relevant Construction / Civil Experience will also be considered

JDE training/experience a plus

Commercial/Industrial experience

Green Energy project installation experience a plus

Manufacturing/Industrial experience

Finance, Sales and Materials work-along and teamwork experience

Experience with Office Suite including Excel and Project

Experience with local, regional, national and global customer support processes, customs and diversity of business practices
