Customer care carpenter, residential custom homes, Red Seal, BC

Hart Tipton Construction, one of BCs top modern home builders, is seeking a full-time Customer Care Carpenter to join our elite team of roughly 50 employees. Known for crafting architecturally significant, ultra custom homes, we are looking for an experienced professional Carpenter versed in BC building code, to support clients post-construction with service, maintenance, and warranty care.

In this client-facing role, youll be responsible for identifying and completing carpentry-related tasks and addressing any warranty concerns with precision and professionalism. You will also determine when issues fall outside of the carpentry scope, and will be expected to coordinate with appropriate sub trades to resolve them efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, troubleshoot, and perform carpentry work (forming, framing, finishing) related to new home construction, maintenance and warranty items
Act as a trusted company representative in client homes
Coordinate sub trades when required for issues beyond carpentry or to coordinate warranty coverage
Communicate clearly with clients, site supervisors, and subcontractors
Qualifications:

Minimum 7 years of experience in full-scope custom residential construction start to finish, all aspects of new home construction
Strong carpentry skills and a problem-solving mindset
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Professional, client-focused demeanor
Strong organizational skills
Ability to use spreadsheets, able to document using photos/ annotation software, ability to read blueprints
Knowledge of BC Building code.
Must live in greater Vancouver and have a valid drivers license to service homes in West Vancouver and Vancouver
