Job Description
Our Nuclear Projects group is a Tier 1 provider to the U.S. Department of Energy, we deliver safe and innovative solutions at complex nuclear cleanup and production sites. Our services include program management, decommissioning, environmental remediation, waste and nuclear material management, nuclear operations, consulting, and engineering, and construction.
The Senior Project Scheduler plays a key role in the management of the Spent Fuel Handling Project at the Naval Reactors Facility of Idaho National Lab. This includes assisting the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager with the development of project plans, Construction Project Manager compliance and accuracy validation of subcontract vendor schedules (baseline, monthly, and three-week look-ahead), including progress and schedule logic conflict management. Forecasting, diagnosing, and planning workarounds and other project tracking needs.
The base salary range for this position is $102,9200 to $160,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, For remote positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Creating and maintaining subcontractor schedules in P6
+ Reporting and monitoring progress on major construction project
+ supporting the Project Controls Manager in the compiling of multiple subproject schedules to establish the status of work on a weekly basis
+ Preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and other ad hoc reporting as requested by the Construction Manager and Project Controls Manager
+ Supports the Project Controls Manager with day-to-day administration of the project, including the financial control, reporting, and monitoring
+ Provides the earned value progress and performance reporting for the project
+ Validate variance analysis
+ Frequent contact with project management, project team members, field craft, finance and accounting stakeholders
To align with subcontractor work schedules, this position may require night shift work***
Qualifications:
+ 5 or more years of work experience
+ 3+ years of experience on large scale heavy industrial projects
+ Experience with Primavera P6
+ 5 or more years of experience (demonstrating of proficiency) in administering project schedu
