Your role and responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, you will demonstrate leadership, communicate business goals, and provide support in team management and coordination for engineered solutions. In this role you will drive the performance and quality of an engineering team to ensure that all executed activities meet the required short-term and long-term business goals.

Approach customers with integrity and respect, for long lasting relationships. You will utilize your experience and expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for yourself and the team.

For this position, we are open to candidates being full-remote or based out of either our Houston, TX office or Lake Mary, FL office.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions group in the United States.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Providing technical leadership to meet business metrics regarding safety, quality, on-time delivery, and talent retention.
Effectively communicate with internal and external customers, cross cultural, and diverse teams for successful planning and execution of multi-discipline control systems.
Drive the team's technical skillset portfolio for more business opportunities.
Travel domestically to customer sites 25% or as needed.

Qualifications for the role:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, Computer Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of work experience in SCADA system design, integration, or industrial automation.
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen Bradley, Siemens, ABB, Schneider, Emerson) and HMI development, alarming, trends and control logic.
Familiarity with communication protocols: Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC, TCP/IP, etc.
Understanding of networking and cybersecurity concepts in industrial control systems. Experience in control system architecture design and development.
Hands-on experience with testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting automation systems.
