About this Position:
The purpose of this position is to operate a variety of heavy equipment for the purposes of road/bridge construction and maintenance in Calcasieu, Cameron, Allen, Jefferson Davis and Beauregard Parishes. It is located in District 07 Unit 720 of the Department of Transportation and Development and reports directly to Highway Foreman 2.
Minimum Qualifications
No experience or training is required.

Job Duties:
50% Operates the following heavy equipment as needed:
- Asphalt Distributor (truck mounted)
- Backhoes
- Front end loaders
- Bucket/ladder trucks
- Cranes/draglines (lifting capacity >20,000 lbs but
