**PE EC Pre-Construction Management**
The ECiP (Erection and Commissioning in Projects) is the main point of contact for all construction, erection, and commissioning (EC) issues throughout the project. This role involves coordinating with project management and sub-project management, and acting as a liaison between EC team managers and the project. The ECiP handles duties of EC personnel until they join the project and then transitions these responsibilities after the project kick-off meeting. They address queries related to planning, construction, erection, test field, and commissioning, ensuring timely and accurate responses by coordinating with EC experts.
Additionally, the ECiP provides early feedback on queries, supports EC services, monitors EC-related accounting, identify and agree on resources needed for project processing within EC. In the Grid Technologies (GT) business area, they coordinate RFQ/DOR with head office and regional units, and assist with drafting and processing erection contracts. The ECiP also supports bid management with technical clarifications and documentation, and aids project schedulers by reviewing and optimizing schedules.
**How Youll Make an Impact**
+ Ensuring the assumption of the risks and opportunities from the offer phase and communication to the execution teams as well as the continuation of the risks and opportunities during the course of the project.
+ Review of customer and supplier contracts regarding the services to be provided by EC; Transfer of information from BCMs.
+ Coordinating and tracking the scheduling for construction, erection and commissioning activities until they are transferred to Siemens Energy construction, installation and commissioning mangers on the construction site.
+ Taking part in regular project discussions, for example on project status, concurrent costing, risks and opportunities.
+ Representing the appointed EC key personnel until they join the project, including: Scheduling internal and external erection and commissioning personnel with the specialist departments. Planning the purchase/leasing of work tools and instruments for erection and commissioning (test field and construction site). Coordinating the construction site setup. Coordinating the system test in the test field.
+ Supporting customer inquiries, with a focus on erection, commissioning and maintenance!
**What You Bring**
+ Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, in electrical engineering or related field, or combined equivalent of work/educational background. 8+ years experience in Construction Management with proven growth in responsibilities.
+ Very good level of experience/overview in the areas of test field, erection and commissioning. Engineering and HDVC experience.
+ Experience of functional management of employees; strong communication and effective in a team environment!
+ Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

We build turnkey High Voltage Substations, Grid Stabilization Solutions, and HVDC Substations in the US and Power Plants all over North America and South America for Utilities, Industrial companies, and Developers. We support our business from the pre-acquisition phase with Tendering activities and through the execution phase as a valuable part of the Project Entity Business.
Our primary objective is to ensure we deliver a quality product or service on time and within budget - sourcing strategically from new and established suppliers/subcontractors to support successful execution of our projects.
