Visual Content Designer (Hybrid)

Position Summary

The Visual Content Designer is a hybrid creative-technical role that combines graphic design and CAD rendering to produce compelling, on-brand visual assets for marketing and sales initiatives. This individual will lead the creation of photorealistic renderings and conceptual visuals for all Specialty Play Group brands, Play & Park Structures, Freenotes Harmony Park, UltraPlay, and BigToys, and support National Account projects as needed.

This position reports to the Marketing team and collaborates closely with CAD and Product teams to ensure rendering accuracy, brand consistency, and effective visual storytelling across platforms such as websites, catalogs, promotions, and presentations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce high-quality 2D/3D product renderings, environmental concepts, and visual merchandising layouts using Lumion, 3DS Max, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Photoshop, and Illustrator .
  • Collaborate with Marketing to support campaigns, product launches, website content, and printed collateral.
  • Coordinate with CAD team to ensure product accuracy in all visual assets.
  • Create custom playground renderings for National Account quotes.
  • Maintain a consistent visual language and brand style across all assets.
  • Manage a digital asset library of visuals and templates.
  • Assist with minor graphic design tasks (e.g., brochures, flyers, social media, web layouts).
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or a related field (Associates in design or drafting preferred).
  • Proficiency in rendering software (Lumion, 3DS Max, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong visual storytelling skills with a keen eye for layout, lighting, and color.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a cross-functional environment.
  • Experience in playground, landscape architecture, or environmental design is a plus.
  • Familiarity with UX/UI or web visual assets is helpful but not required.

Technical Skills
  • Software: AutoCAD, Lumion, 3DS Max, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Bonus: Experience with KeyShot, SketchUp, Revit , or other modeling/visualization platforms
  • Familiarity with file conversion, export settings, and digital asset management tools

  • Ability to explain design choices and translate technical CAD data into marketing visuals

Physical Demands & Work Environment
  • Frequent walking, sitting, and use of hands; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs (max 50 lbs)
  • Requires close vision and ability to adjust focus
  • Quiet office environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing settings (PPE required)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
