Journeyman Plumber Job Description We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team, specializing in the installation of plumbing fixtures for new construction buildings. This includes residential single-family and multi-family homes, as well as commercial structures. The role focuses solely on new construction work without service work involvement. Responsibilities Install plumbing fixtures in residential and commercial new construction buildings. Collaborate with construction teams to ensure the proper installation and functioning of plumbing systems. Utilize blueprints to accurately install piping and plumbing fixtures. Ensure compliance with all relevant codes and standards. Essential Skills Proficiency in plumbing and plumbing installation. Experience with reading and interpreting blueprints. Strong knowledge of pipe fitting and mechanical systems. Competency in using hand tools and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman plumber certification. Experience with water and waste pipe installation. Background in construction environments. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work primarily in new construction environments, collaborating with ground and concrete contractors, as well as framing contractors for rough-in work and finish/punch list subcontractors for finish work. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
