Our client is in need of a Millwork Wood Production/Machine Operator. Responsibilities include operating a double surface planer and other production machinery involved in crown molding manufacturing. Heavy team lifting is involved in stabilizing raw lumber through the production process.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in lumber production environments such as custom cabinet shops and truss manufacturing. CNC type machine operation experience in wood production is required.
Schedule: M-TH 745am-530pm & 745a-12:15pm on Fri.
Pay is $18-$23/hr. based on experience to be determined in an interview.
Other skills needed include: reading tape measure, good math skills, standard forklift experience, able to multitask, must speak fluent English but bilingual in Spanish is helpful. Must be able to multitask. This person must be able to work with minimum supervision and have a mature demeanor.
This is a temp-to-hire position leading to a permanent position for the right candidate.
