A design and installation company for HVAC and refrigeration projects is looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their team! While this is a remote role, individuals must be located in either Eastern or Central Time Zones.

Job Description:

  • Participate in the design and evaluation of large-scale HVAC replacement and one-off complex projects
  • Efforts include but are not limited to surveys, site/project evaluations, load/energy calculations, equipment selection, direct coordination with manufacturers, design of permit/construction drawings, and construction administration efforts/coordination
  • Coordinate/manage 3rd party consulting firms
  • Communicate directly with clients providing deliverable overview, recommendations and progress updates
  • Interact with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to review, define and design in order to meet customer requirements
  • Candidate needs to be motivated, highly self-directed and capable of organizing/planning/running multiple concurrent projects with minimal direction meeting deadlines with high quality deliverables
  • Coordinate and develop client relationships

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professional Engineering (PE) License or actively pursuing this
  • 7+ years professional experience
  • Experience working directly with clients
  • Expertise working with Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite applications, and load calculation programs (HAP experience is a plus)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a multi-disciplinary team
  • Must be located in Eastern or Central Time Zones

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
