Electrical Project Engineer

Actalent is seeking a degreed Electrical Engineer with 6-8 years of experience for an Electrical Project Engineer role. Candidates will lead and manage electrical engineering aspects of complex building projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP systems, proven project management skills and a passion for mentoring junior engineers. This role requires a proactive leader who can drive project success from concept through construction while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment. Qualified candidates must be proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and MEP systems.

Project Leadership:Lead the electrical design and coordination of MEP systems for commercial, institutional, and/or industrial projects.Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.Team Management & Mentorship:Supervise and guide a team of electrical engineers and designers.Provide technical training, performance feedback, and career development support to junior staff.Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.Technical Expertise:Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and system design for lighting, power distribution, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems.Ensure compliance with applicable codes (NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, etc.) and client standards.Review and approve electrical drawings, specifications, and submittals.

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
