Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and specify medium and low voltage power systems for large-scale capital HVAC replacement and one-off complex projects. This role involves comprehensive project planning, development, and construction/permit drawing design. Responsibilities
- Design and specify power systems, including project and peak load calculations.
- Create one-line diagrams and select appropriate equipment sizes.
- Develop equipment layouts and system controls.
- Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to meet customer requirements.
- Organize, plan, and manage multiple concurrent projects with minimal supervision.
- Coordinate and develop client relationships.
- Ensure designs comply with Building and Energy codes.
- Travel up to 20% for project needs.
- Proficiency in electrical design using Revit and AutoCAD.
- Experience in electrical engineering and design.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of Building and Energy codes.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Structural Engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE/SE) License in Structural.
- 7+ years of professional experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years in construction roof evaluation and structural loading.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working directly with clients.
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite applications.
