Job Description
ASRC Federal is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Maintenance Foreman to support our Cyber Center of Excellence (CCoE) Maintenance Support Contract at Fort Gordon, GA .
The Maintenance Foreman will be responsible for the direct supervision and technical oversight of maintenance operations on tactical and non-tactical wheeled vehicles and related systems. This role ensures compliance with all applicable Army regulations and procedures and supports mission readiness through effective team leadership, coordination, and maintenance execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise all field and shop maintenance operations related to tactical wheeled vehicles and equipment systems (engines, drivetrains, hydraulics, electrical, HVAC, brakes, etc.).
- Prioritize and assign daily work orders in accordance with mission needs and Government direction.
- Troubleshoot complex maintenance issues and oversee implementation of corrective actions.
- Support mobile repair teams and recovery operations at field sites, motor pools, and breakdown locations.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations, including AR 385-10 and environmental policies.
- Conduct and verify PMCS, quality control inspections, and technical inspections to Army standards.
- Maintain accurate records in GCSS-Army and related LIS, including labor hours, parts usage, and maintenance actions.
- Track and implement MWOs, SOUMs, TBs, and AOAP tasks.
- Ensure accountability of sensitive items, tools, and government-furnished equipment (IAW AR 190-11).
- Liaise with Government personnel, including CORs and IMMOs, during meetings, briefings, and inspections.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate performance of assigned personnel to ensure technical compliance and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification in military wheeled vehicle maintenance preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in military tactical vehicle maintenance, including 2 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
- Experience with GCSS-Army and TAMMS strongly preferred.
- Ability to interpret and apply Army Technical Manuals (TMs) and regulations.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License required; CDL Class B with air brake endorsement is a plus.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Work Schedule & Travel
- Standard duty hours: Monday–Friday, 0730–1600.
- May require occasional after-hours or weekend work to support mission requirements.
- Local travel within Fort Gordon and surrounding areas for field maintenance support.
