Davis-Standard is a global leader in the design, development and distribution of extrusion and converting technology. Our systems encompass over 11 product lines to support manufacturing applications and customers in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, building & construction, consumer products, medical, and packaging. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead projects from initiation through completion including warranty period, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are consistently achieved. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, working closely with engineering, operations, procurement, quality, and service teams to align key deliverables. Serve as the primary liaison with customers, providing regular updates and addressing questions, issues, or changes. Monitor project performance metrics and provide clear reporting to the program management office and executive leadership. Facilitate regular internal meetings to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure team accountability. Work with functional managers to ensure resources efficiently meet the needs of the project. Coordinate with finance and commercial teams to manage billing milestones, cost tracking, and profitability targets. Manage risk proactively by identifying potential obstacles and developing mitigation strategies. Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including project status reports, change orders, and close out summaries. Ensure compliance with contract terms, safety requirements, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle. Timely address internally and with the customer deviations from the specification are considered for cost and delivery implications. Ensure that safety audits, equipment checkouts, and floor tests are completed. Other job duties as assigned. Awareness of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, EHS&S programs SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field. 5+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects (equipment manufacturing or capital goods preferred). Familiar with POC sales recognition model Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent). PMP certification or equivalent preferred. Strong leadership and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Financial acumen to support cost control and forecasting. Ability to influence and drive alignment across a functionally structured organization without direct authority. High attention to detail and commitment to process excellence. Ability to travel 25% of the year US and internationally.
