Responsible for maintaining the center equipment under the direction of the Facility manager
Assists in maintaining pinspotters/setters, automatic scoring equipment, lanes, building and all other bowling center equipment at the highest level of operating proficiency.
Will be responsible for preventative maintenance of HVAC, kitchen equipment and high-tech Audio and Video equipment, when directed by the center Facility Manager
Maintaining and replenishing correct parts inventory by recording machine repairs and parts used
Record an log all machine stops
Will assist in giving instructions to the Guests on bowling center equipment
Will maintain a safe working environment
Must follow Lock-Out/Tag-Out functions and other safety procedures on all safety sensitive equipment.
Will not allow Non-train personal on or around safety sensitive equipment.
Abides by the Machine Area Safety Procedures provide by the facility manager
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and/or 2 years of related experience in Automotive, Electric or HVAC is desired. Must be 18 years of age or older.
A working knowledge of electrical systems is desired
Carpentry/plumbing/drywall repair and painting skills a plus
References on any prior mechanical competencies are necessary
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk. The employee must be able to lift/push/pull over 50 pounds
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center environment where high levels of noise and Guest interaction/activities can be expected. The noise level in the work environment can be loud at times.
