HVAC Technician**

**Job Description**

This position involves maintaining, repairing, installing, inspecting, and adjusting industrial HVAC systems and equipment. You will also be responsible for facility repairs, such as light fixtures, outlet changes, and trash removal. Additionally, you will provide cost estimates, layout equipment, and schedule jobs as needed. Maintaining accurate and timely paperwork for all preventative maintenance and repairs is essential.

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain, repair, install, inspect, and adjust industrial HVAC systems and equipment.

+ Conduct facility repairs, including light fixtures, outlet changes, and trash removal.

+ Provide cost estimates, equipment layout, and schedule jobs.

+ Maintain accurate and timely paperwork for all preventative maintenance and repairs.

+ Work from a set of system blueprints.

+ Start systems, observe operation, read gauges and instruments, and adjust mechanisms such as actuators, valves, controls, and pumps to control system operation.

+ Inspect systems to verify compliance with plans and specifications and detect malfunctions in system components.

+ Perform filter changes.

**Work Environment**

The work shift is from 8am to 4:30pm. You will be visiting schools, museums, and office buildings within the Corning, NY area, totaling 20 sites. Technicians work in pairs, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Corning, New York.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
