Civil Construction Master Plumber

We are seeking an experienced and licensed Master Plumber to join our civil construction team and play a key role in delivering high-quality plumbing systems for large-scale infrastructure projects . As a vital member of our crew, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex water, sewer, and drainage systems, ensuring all work complies with local codes and safety standards. responsibilities:

• Interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to plan the layout and installation of plumbing systems for civil projects.
  
  
• Lead and execute the installation of various plumbing systems, including water mains, sewer lines, storm drainage, fire suppression lines, and specialized industrial piping.
  
  
• Perform trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and compaction in accordance with civil engineering specifications.
  
  
• Install and connect fixtures, valves, pumps, and other plumbing components.
  
  
• Conduct pressure testing, leak detection, and system commissioning.
  
  
• Oversee the excavation and shoring requirements for plumbing installations.
  
  
• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of journeyman plumbers, apprentices, and laborers.
  
  
• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repair of existing plumbing infrastructure on civil sites.
  
  
• Diagnose complex plumbing issues and implement effective solutions.
  
  
• Respond to emergencies and address critical plumbing failures promptly.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training or apprenticeship in plumbing required.
  
  
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience as a plumber, with at least 4 years in a leadership role specifically on civil construction projects (e.g., infrastructure, large-scale commercial, industrial sites).
  
  
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, and techniques relevant to civil construction.
  
  
• Experience with various piping materials (e.g., PVC, HDPE, ductile iron, concrete pipe).
  
  
• Familiarity with trenching and excavation safety practices.
  
  
• Understanding of hydraulic principles and fluid dynamics.
