Intern Architect

Develop construction plans for residential, commercial and industrial development projects by preparing architectural designs and scaled drawings, using computer-aided design (CAD), under the supervision of a licensed Architect. Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time and in accordance with environmental, safety, local regulations and quality standards. Meet with clients to review and discuss architectural drawings. Plan layouts of structural architectural projects based on specifications from project leaders, revising models and drawings to comply with changes during construction or manufacturing process. Maintain accurate records. Integrate engineering elements into unified architectural designs. Monitor projects to ensure compliance with plans. Prepare environmental impact and other studies and reports and present to construction managers.
