Now Hiring: 1099 Independent Contractor Home Repairs Technician (Gig Work)
Were hiring skilled, experienced Repairs Technicians for gig-based work across residential rental properties in the Charlotte metro area. This is not a W-2 job we are looking for true independent contractors who take pride in their work, communicate clearly, show up on time, and dont bring drama.

Requirements:
515 years of hands-on experience in property/home repairs
Must have your own tools and transportation
Must be reliable if you schedule a job, you must show up in the scheduled window
Must be able to send photo updates for completed work, before and after pictures
Must be financially stable
Must be able to pass a drug test
Independent contractor status only (1099)

Job Scope General Property Repairs:
Plumbing: toilets, faucets, drains, disposals
Electrical: switches, outlets, light fixtures
Interior and exterior painting (small to medium jobs)
Drywall patching, trim repair, and caulking
Door and lock repairs, blind installation, hardware swaps
Appliance installs and basic troubleshooting
Turnover punch lists and light renovation support
Cleanup, and make-ready prep
All general property repairs

Compensation:
Pay is based on the job, but we generally target 30-45/hr for highly skilled, quality work depending on the trade, for example:
o$30/hr for painting and general work
o$45/hr for mechanical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliances, etc.)
We round rates up for:
oConsistently high-quality, drama-free workers
oVendors who are organized, professional, and accommodating
oWorkers who leave job sites clean, work efficiently, and build trust through performance

Payout Policy:
All payouts go directly to the individual who did the work
Contractors must:
oSign our Independent Contractor Agreement
oSubmit a valid W-9
oProvide government-issued photo ID (drivers license or passport)
Payout Schedule:
Jobs under $300 (with photos or credible renter verification) completed by Wednesday 6 PM are paid Thursday
Jobs over $300 or needing further verification are paid within 7 days of completion

Payment Methods:
Zelle, CashApp, or Venmo
Payments only to the person doing the work, after providing w9, independent contractors agreement, and photo ID (license, state issued ID, or passport)
