Washington Commercial Painters, a national painting company based in Redmond, WA, is currently seeking a Graphics Estimator / Assistant Project Manager to join our team!
This position is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with experience in commercial painting and a strong understanding of the graphic and design components that go into modern commercial projects. Youll be involved in all phases of estimating and project execution, working directly with clients, designers, architects, and contractors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage projects from start to finish
Perform accurate take-offs and deliver submittals on time
Interact directly with clients, providing knowledgeable guidance throughout the project
Interpret and work from brand books, specs, and design guidelines
Collaborate with designers, architects, and contractors to ensure project accuracy
Effectively manage crews and recommend resources
Identify and perform project change orders
Attend project meetings and scope reviews
Procure necessary materials and equipment
Write detailed scope proposals and maintain accurate job costing
Read and understand contracts, construction documents, and plans
Understand and estimate work involving digital wall coverings, painted graphics, and specialty design installations
Qualifications and Experience:
2+ years of experience estimating or managing commercial painting or construction projects
Familiarity with graphics, printing processes, painted graphics, digital wall coverings, and specialty design installations
Prior experience working directly with brand guidelines, designers, architects, and contractors
Strong computer and mathematical skills, including blueprint reading and estimating software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines
Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to write detailed reports and proposals
Clean driving record required
Additional Preferred Skills:
Background as a superintendent or shop foreman is a plus
Painting field experience preferred
Experience in client-facing roles, with an understanding of customer satisfaction and retention

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
