About Us

At PWG, we're powering progress in essential water infrastructure. Our growing portfolio of Sydney Water projects-ranging from pipelines to pump stations-requires talented professionals who are ready to make a lasting impact. We're looking for a skilled Civil Estimator to support our tendering efforts and build our project portfolio.

Essential Qualifications and Attributes

• Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in estimating or tendering for Sydney Water pipeline and infrastructure projects.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Sydney Water specifications, standards, and procedures. Ability to accurately interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.

Estimating Proficiency: Confident in preparing detailed, competitive cost estimates using industry-standard software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Organisation & Detail: Exceptional time management and attention to detail to ensure estimates are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time. Able to work under time pressure.

Industry Knowledge: Solid background in civil construction, particularly water infrastructure-pipelines, pump stations, and associated works.

Additional Qualifications (preferred but not essential)

It is advantageous if you:

• Have experience working with Expert Estimator.

• Have experience estimating tier one projects.

• Are a qualified Quantity Surveyor/Civil Engineer
