Environmental Health & Safety Manager - Cleveland, OH - JOB 25-01384
Salary Range: $90K - $110K Permanent Position with Benefits
Cleveland, Ohio area Chemical Manufacturing Firm seeks an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to Develop, implement, review, and maintain Safety Data Sheets, finished product labels, and all components of OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) to ensure regulatory compliance is met.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical, Industrial and / or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of (3) years of hands-on experience working in the paint and coatings industry.
Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or other 'Safety' related Certifications.
Preferred Candidates would have experience with BasicSafe, Bartender, and/or Product Vision software.
Experience with environmental and safety regulations, risk management, prepare and file regulatory reports and permits verifying accuracy and filing on time to the any one or more of the following: EPA, USMCA, RCRA, SARA 312, Rule 314, Fee Emissions, Fee Exceedance, DOT, SARA 313, Extended Producer Responsibility (packaging), and Hazardous Chemicals.
Research and interpret safety and environmental regulations, continuously improve safety performance, develop, implement, and manage comprehensive EHS programs, promote a strong safety culture, conduct audits, lead accident investigations with management and workforce to identify issues.
Create and update emergency response plans and procedures, coordinate worker training on laws, safety, regulations, hazardous conditions, HAZCOM requirements, operating procedures, and safety equipment use per OSHA, EPA, DOT, and NFPA.
Solid verbal and written communication and Technical Documentation skills.
Limited Travel
Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
