**1ST SHIFT & 3RD SHIFT AVAILABLE**

**Pay: $28-32/hr**

**Location: Cedar Rapids & Iowa City**

**Job Description**

This role involves performing mechanical services on equipment with a strong focus on precision alignment, welding, blueprint reading, mathematics, and preventative and predictive maintenance. You will be required to utilize hand tools such as power tools, hand grinders, saws, drill presses, hydraulic pullers, and perform welding tasks.

**Responsibilities**

+ Complete preventative, predictive, and reactive industrial maintenance throughout the facility.

+ Operate standard maintenance tools including power tools, basic hand tools, electric tools, precision maintenance tools, and preventative maintenance technology tools.

+ Utilize and work with maintenance trades and components such as electrical, welding, pipefitting, fabrication, gearbox and bearing maintenance, lubrication, pumps and piping systems, mechanical maintenance, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Modify or build equipment by reading and comprehending electrical/mechanical schematics, blueprints, and operation manuals.

+ Document completed work and the conditions found using maintenance computer software as necessary.

+ Interact regularly with peers and management to promote continuous improvement of facility operations and foster a teamwork-focused environment.

+ Operate forklifts, loaders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school degree or GED

+ 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance

+ AA degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred but not required

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
