Welder

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Compensation: $15.00 $17.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Welder/Grinder to join our team. This position is responsible for performing welding and grinding tasks to support fabrication and production operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with welding equipment, metal finishing, and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG, TIG, or Stick welding on various metal components.
Operate grinders and other metal finishing tools to smooth and prepare surfaces.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
Inspect welds and finished parts for quality and accuracy.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE.
Assist with general shop duties and fabrication tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in welding and grinding (1+ years preferred).
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and measurements.
Familiarity with welding tools, grinders, and safety equipment.
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
High school diploma or equivalent (technical training a plus).
Preferred Skills:
Welding certification(s) a plus.
Experience with fabrication or metalworking in a shop environment.
Team-oriented with a strong work ethic and reliability.
