The Role:
We're looking for a creative, independent, and personable Project Architect to join our studio. The ideal candidate has 3-4+ years of experience in high-end residential architecture, with a strong design sensibility, excellent technical skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You must be highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working across all phases of a projectfrom schematic design through construction administration.
Qualifications & Requirements:
3-4+ years of relevant experience in residential architecture
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
Proficiency in AutoCAD
Strong 3D modeling skills (3DS Max, Forest Pack, SketchUp please specify your preferred tools)
Rendering experience (V-Ray for 3DS Max and/or V-Ray/Podium for SketchUp)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Acrobat)
Strong experience producing design presentations, construction documents, and detailed drawing sets
Familiarity with NYC building codes, materials, and architectural detailing
Experience reviewing shop drawings and coordinating with vendors and contractors
Research and selection of architectural materials, systems, fixtures, and equipment
Detail- and service-oriented with strong organizational skills
Excellent verbal and visual communication skills
Friendly, professional demeanor
Must be New York-based and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation:
Salary commensurate with experience and skill set.
Schedule:
4 days/week in-studio to start, with 1 remote day/week after onboarding
