Infrastructure Engineer
The salary range for this role is $85k to $95k annually*
Summary:We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with a specialization in endpoint management and automation . This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle of servers and endpoint devices across the organization. You’ll leverage tools such as Microsoft Intune , SCCM , Ansible , and PowerShell —alongside integrations with REST APIs and Python —to build scalable, efficient automation workflows that improve operational consistency and reduce manual effort.
The ideal candidate is process-minded, highly collaborative, and passionate about building secure, sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage enterprise-scale endpoint and server infrastructure using Intune, SCCM, Ansible, Autopilot, and Automox.
Automate operational tasks including device enrollment, software deployment, patching, and compliance.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible playbooks to support lifecycle management of endpoints and servers.
Integrate automation workflows with REST APIs and third-party platforms to support monitoring and compliance efforts.
Establish and maintain standard configurations, device baselines, and security best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with compliance, security, and operational goals.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for provisioning, patching, and endpoint automation processes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure processes, scripts, and procedures.
Participate in post-deployment reviews and provide recommendations for ongoing optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of experience in systems or endpoint engineering with a focus on automation.
Proven experience managing enterprise-scale environments across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Proficiency in Microsoft server OS and enterprise endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, Autopilot).
Strong scripting capabilities with PowerShell, Ansible, and Python.
Experience with REST APIs for systems integration and reporting.
Familiarity with endpoint patching solutions such as Automox or Patch My PC.
Deep understanding of device configuration and compliance for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on scalable and sustainable engineering practices.
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control for automation workflows.
Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, conditional access policies, and MDM best practices.
Experience integrating with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, or similar.
VMware automation experience (e.g., vSphere, vCenter) using tools such as PowerCLI or Ansible.
