Overview
We are currently seeking a Part Time Painter The Painter prepares surfaces for painting and finishing; applies undercoats and finish coats using the full range of application methods and materials; mixes and matches paints and finishes. Responsibilities
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintains existing paint surfaces through matching and tinting of appropriate paint products.
Performing all assigned duties including, but not limited to; trash pick-up, plumbing, heating & cooling systems, electrical and furniture moving.
Working on off-duty hours, if called, in an emergency situation including, but not limited to: snow storms; hurricanes; floods; fires; essential equipment failures or malfunction. A minimum of three (3) hours will be paid for any call-in situation.
Assisting on weekend coverage with other maintenance staff.
Assume responsibility for self-safety and that of the immediate environment.
Reporting all problems to the Director of Plant Operation regularly and in emergencies.
Being available for emergency on call on an alternating basis with other maintenance staff.
Attending annual in-service programs including, but not limited to, body mechanics, right-to-know information, and fire and safety procedures.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
Some mechanical and electrical knowledge and a working knowledge of the trades.
Must be in good physical health and able to perform difficult tasks at times.
Must have ability to read, speak, and write and follow simple oral instructions.
High school education or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of commercial painting experience.
