Civil Engineer

Position Overview:

• We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing team. Depending on experience, the position may be titled as either Project Engineer or Project Manager.

• This role involves taking land development projects from early feasibility through design and construction, often serving as the main point of contact with clients, permitting agencies, and partners.

• While the position offers remote flexibility, candidates must reside in Central Oregon and be familiar with the local development landscape-particularly permitting processes in the region.

• Manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction

• Prepare technical plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D

• Coordinate and submit permits for public and private developments

• Communicate with clients, city agencies, and contractors

• Track project schedules, deliverables, and tasks

• Contribute to a collaborative and mission-driven team culture

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of civil engineering experience

• EIT certification required; PE license preferred

• Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D

• Experience with Central Oregon permitting processes (e.g., City of Bend)

• Strong understanding of land use, design, and construction permitting

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

• Must currently reside in Central Oregon (Bend, Redmond, La Pine, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

• PE license in Oregon

• Experience in residential or mixed-use land development

• Knowledge of stormwater, grading, utility design, and platting

• Background in small firm or fast-paced work environments
